My name is Sinead Botterill and I am an Australian born clinical psychologist currently working in Zürich, Switzerland.  I originally trained and qualified in Australia where I spent over five years working for a non-government organisation providing assessment, therapy and behaviour support services to children and adults with learning disabilities.  I also provided general therapy services under Australia’s Medicare scheme to both children and adults

Over the past seven years I have lived in London and now Zürich providing psychological services to both children and adults in a variety of settings.  These include child and adolescent mental health, learning and developmental disabilities, neuropsychology and forensic services.

I utilise a primarily CBT based approach to therapy, however, as a clinical psychologist I have received training in a variety of approaches and am able to tailor interventions to best meet your needs.  Other approaches I am trained in and work regularly with include Solution Focussed Therapy (SFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness and Compassion Focussed Therapy.  When working with challenging or problematic behaviours I work using a primarily positive behaviour support approach.
